  1. how is it. i was at the ware this morning brought two to net. water was high had to get down and deep so i threw on the poly leader. once the water levels out remaining fishing will be spread out i think. i still the water is too cold for fish to be rely chasing, a bugger. how ever that was the that worked today

  2. I am new to your blog, but not new to the Quinnie at all. I have been up there 4 times this season. 2 before the stocking, when I usually take a brookie or a holdover brown, nothing. I only got one nice Bow after the rain came. It was on a bright pink San Juan with a small VW as a split shot. I got it below the River St bridge. I am going down by the rail bridges this week.

On a diff note, I did hear that the dam at Wachusett is coming down and they are currently talking to contractors. Do you or anyone else know if the Quinnie Res has pumping capabilities? I have seen it dry up there in the summer? If they can keep some water in it and open it up to the res, the fishing could improve a lot in a short time. Of course, the regs we'd all like to see, no kill ALO, will likely not happen. For my 2 cents, I'd only put brookies and browns in as well.

Great blog, I am glad someone is focusing on this cool little stream....and the Stillwater. Best of luck --we've probably crossed paths on 4/20 a bunch of times

  3. How do you get to cable pool? When I tried the way on River Rd. the gate was chained and closed.
